A Good Move
(in response to The Hall of Politics Posted Apr 14)
I believe Dale Petroskey, the president of Baseball Hall of Fame, made the right move. The way I see it Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon, had the choice in making their statements and Dale had the choice in uninviting them also. In no way did Petroskey deny them their right for freedom of speech just a platform to spew their hatred for Bush.
The Baseball Hall of Fame, The Oscars, and any awards show for that matter is not the place to get your political views out in the open. There are other places where you can platform your views.
It's a two way street folks. Petroskey voiced his opinion and it was the right move in my opinion.
