Milwaukee Brewers: Sub-.400 record, with a rotation that features Glendon Rusch (1-8, 7.38 ERA)
San Diego Padres: Sub-.300 record, no starting pitcher with an ERA below 4.50. Rondell White the team MVP so far. Heck, they've just signed Rod Beck.
Detroit Tigers: Only won 9 in spring training, started the season 3-25. Dmitri Young leads the team with a .278 average and 9 homers.
Cincinnati Reds: Sure they are at .500, but they've won 11 games by 1 run. No starting pitcher with an ERA below 4.80.
New York Mets: More than $40 million committed to the DL alone. And that's with Burnitz back in the lineup.
Tampa Bay Devil Rays: Still under .400, despite Lou Pinella's best efforts.
Arizona Diamondbacks: Between the DL (Unit, Schilling, Mantei, et al) and the Do Not Call List (Williams), over $45 million going to non-participants. Only Luis Gonzalez is earning his keep.
Chicago White Sox: The Colon trade was supposed to give them two #1 pitchers. Mark Buehrle is 2-8, Colon 5-5. Without Esteban Loaiza (8-2, 1.96 ERA) this team could really be up the creek.
