Who will be the #1 pick in the 2005 NFL Entry Draft?

Mike Williams, WR, USC: He's tall, he's tested, and he's well-rested. Great hands, big-bodied playmaker.

Cedric Benson, RB, Texas: Strong, proven runner, but has he been overused in college? Hard to bring down, great field vision.

Braylon Edwards, WR, Michigan: Big time athlete, great hands when focused. Caught 10+ balls five times this past season, and had 7 100+ yard games.

Alex Smith, QB, Utah: Smart finesse passer who can run, with only one loss on his collegiate record.

Dan Cody, DE, Oklahoma: Versatile end can also move like a linebacker. He will interrupt the play more often than make the tackle, which is tantamount for his success.

Heath Miller, TE, Virginia: With players like Tony Gonzalez, Jeremy Shockey, Todd Heap, and other tight ends making major impact on offense, the team that winds up with this big fella should improve. Can block and catch.

Someone else: The combine is ahead of us, and one of the two Auburn backs may emerge. Aaron Rogers could blow everyone away. Derrick Johnson could continue to climb.
